In a bid to implement lecturer career services, to uniform perception and to hold competency test for assessors and assessor candidates of Lecturer Performance Load (BKD) are needed. To serve that point, Center for Development and Improvement of Instructional Activities (P3AI) Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep) conducted an event to uniform perception as well as Competency Test for Assessors and Assessor Candidates of BKD which held at Accounting Hall on 2-3 June 2022 and attended by 63 participants, as reported by Elsa Sari Yuliana the Chair of P3AI at the opening session.   

According to Elsa, the event held is the follow-up of letter issued by Director of Resources Number 0266/E4/KK.00/2022 dated 26 January, 2022 regarding the Implementation of 2021 Lecturer Performance Load (BKD) Guidance. “This two-day event aims to renew and upgrade competence and skill following the issuance of 2021 PO BKD,” she added.

She went on informing that Polnep, previously, had 50 assessors with NIRA. Following some circumstances, there are only 40 assessors left. “We, then, opened recruitment for those who are qualified as new candidates, and, here we are, with 63 participants participating in this event,” she remarked.

The event itself was officially opened by Director of Pontianak State Polytechnic H. Muhammad Toasin Asha. In his opening remarks, the Director suggested all participants to follow the new rules of composing BKD as set up by the ministry. The event, he added, is essential for assessors so that they can assess and evaluate in accordance with the official guidance.
