It is a delighted news for Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep), its 4th semester student of Civil Engineering Andriani won 2nd Best Digital-Based Project Innovation at the "International Youth Excursion Network (IYEN)" competition which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 4 to 7 March 2025.

International Youth Excursion Network (IYEN) is an international youth program which took place in Malaysia. The program aimed to increase youth’s capacity and capability in various fields which was attended by 48 participants. In the competition, participants were tested for their ability to develop innovation through answering questions and assessment. In addition, their reliability was also tested in order to get investment and its potential contribution to overcome problems at national level.

Andriani is a student with unlimited curiosity, always looking for new experiences to develop herself and build a strong understanding to various things. Therefore, she participated in the IYEN competition to present her digital-based parenting innovation and attract investors to support the innovation. Although she is not an IT student, Andriani has a strong will to introduce her innovation to the public, which made her succeed to achieve title in the competition.

With this competition, Andriani hoped that her innovation could continue to grow through collaboration with her relations in perfecting the innovation. ‘I hope this innovation can develop and be sustainable to be realized so that it can be used by many people by collaborating with several relations in perfecting related innovations,’ she said.
