Study Programs Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) of Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep) in Sanggau Regency held a graduation of Diploma III programs for academic year 2023/2024. The 4th graduation ceremony held by Polnep’s Sanggau campus graduated 99 students. The event was conducted on Tuesday (15/10/2024) at the Balai Betomu Sanggau Conference Room. The graduates were from three study programs, namely Diploma 3 Program on Machine Technology with 15 graduates; Diploma 3 Program on Accounting with 45 graduates; and Diploma 3 Program on Plantation Product Processing with 39 graduates.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Acting Regent of Sanggau Regency, Sanggau’s Regional Secretary and his assistants, Head of People’s Welfare Division at Sanggau’s Regional Secretariat, the Commander of Sanggau Military District 1204, the Head of Sanggau Resort Police, and other local government’s officials.  
In his welcoming speech, the Vice Director IV on Cooperation Topan Prihantoro, on behalf of Polnep’s director and Civitas Academica, congratulated all the graduates for the success they made on the graduation day. Moreover, he extended his gratitude to all students’ parents who believed in Polnep and sent their children to study at Polnep. He also thanked Sanggau Local Government for its full support and contribution to the success of the 4th graduation ceremony. “Congratulation for all of you and welcome to the real world. You will start the real journey which is full of challenges, however you must face it optimistically. May the success be with you all,” said Topan Prihantoro to conclude his remarks.
Afterwards, Acting Regent of Sanggau Suherman in his remarks on behalf of Sanggau Local Government extended his congratulation to all graduates for their achievements. He hoped that they could gain success with all the skills and knowledge they gained at campus, not only for themselves but also for Sanggau Regency in particular and Indonesia in general. He also expressed his gratitude to the parents of the graduates for their full support and attention so that their children could complete their education at PSDKU Polnep Sanggau. Furthermore, he motivated the fresh graduates to be entrepreneurs and start their own business. “You will have bigger opportunities to be successful people if you become an entrepreneur in this modern era,” he remarked.
During the ceremony, the committee also announced three best graduates with the highest GPA from three study programs available in PSDKU Sanggau, namely Ahmad Dwi Setyawan (3.26) from Machine Technology; Elsa Wulandari (3.92) from Accounting; and Suci Hidayati (3.85) from Plantation Product Processing. Each of them received awards and five million rupiahs in cash as prizes from Pontianak State Polytechnic.
Moreover, the committee gave awards to graduates with non-academic achievements as well, as follows:
•    Jery Febryan ranked 4th out of 40 in National Welding Competition (NWC) at Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya,
•    Saharrudin, Agung Nugroho, and Marsianus Beni ranked 2nd at the 2023 Tourism Video Competition held by Disporapar Sanggau.
•    Yenni, Vina Pandiwinata, Tekla Akwila, and Monika Nani ranked 1st at Bussines Matching & Pitching National Competition in Polibatam.
•    Dewa Arnanda Abdul Haris Wibisono ranked 1st in Chess Competition for University Students held by Percasi Sanggau.
•    Apolinaris Rony Rinanda ranked 2nd in Chess Competition for University Students held by Percasi Sanggau.
•    Aan Firnanda ranked 3rd in Chess Competition for University Students held by Percasi Sanggau.
•    Yohanes Heriyanto ranked 3 in Volley Ball Natal Cup Tournament
