Department’s Profile :
Electronic Engineering Department of Pontianak State Polytechnic is the first and major vocational/professional education institution in the field of electronic and electrical engineering in West Kalimantan. The department offers 3 study programs, namely Electrical Engineering; Electronic Engineering; and Informatics Engineering, consisting of 6 semesters each (three-year program). In order to strengthen their students’ competence, the programs offered implement the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI)-based curriculum.

Department’s Vision and Mission

VISION
Becoming an excellent vocational education institution in the field of electronic/electrical engineering referring to Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) in order to produce graduates who fulfill the criteria of labor market need standard and trust of external parties.

MISSION

Ø  Strengthening morals, noble character, work ethics, autonomy, and professional attitude among its academic community.

Ø  Creating a healthy academic atmosphere for its academic community to perform the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi).

Ø  Creating opportunities for study programs to work together in order to strengthen the potential of Electronic Engineering Department which is also in line with the vision of Pontianak State Polytechnic.

OBJECTIVES

Ø  Maintaining moral values, noble character, hard-work culture, autonomy, and professionalism in daily life activities of academic community in Electronic Engineering Department.

Ø  Creating a healthy academic atmosphere in Electronic Engineering Department in performing academic activities, researches, and community services.

Ø  Seeking opportunities for study programs to develop, work together, and strengthen self-potential to support Polnep’s vision and mission

v  Electrical Engineering Study Program currently holds “B” title of accreditation from BAN-PT based on decree number: 1145/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dipl-III/V/2018 dated on 2 Mei 2018.

v  Electronic Engineering Study Program currently holds “B” title of accreditation from BAN-PT based on decree number: 4396/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dip-III/XI/2017 dated on 14 November 2017.

Informatics Engineering Study Program currently holds “B” title of accreditation from BAN-PT based on decree number: 4396/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/Dip-III/XI/2017 dated on 14 November 2017.
