“As a lecturer, it is important to keep your good manner since you will become your student’s role model. Once you are accepted here in Pontianak State Polytechnic, you should be adaptive to your new environment, especially like us who work in a campus,” said Director of Pontianak State Polytechnic H. Muhammad Toasin Asha starting his directive on the occasion of Decree Letter Handover to Civil Servant Candidates.

He went on saying that Polnep currently has more than 500 employees which serve more than 7000 students. “I believe it is quite normal if I must admit that it is impossible for me to recognize all the employees. Hence, if we accidentally meet outside, do not hesitate to greet me,” he added.

Following the decree letter handover, the civil servant candidates were also symbolically handed over to their home base department. “Now, you can start carrying out your duties and obligations as new lecturers,” Director Toasin Asha said. He also asked the departments to give directive to new lecturers so they can perform well in campus. “In this valuable moment, I, once again, invite all parties here to know and understand more about Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn),” he concluded.
