Six students of Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep) successfully become awardees of the 2024 Indonesia International Student Mobility Award (IISMA). The awardees chose 3 different countries to study overseas. The scholarship aims to support Indonesian students to experience one semester of study at reputable overseas partner universities/industry. The program itself is a collaboration between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency (LPDP).
IISMA Program has 3 schemes, namely regular, affirmation, and co-funding. Regular scheme gives full scholarship. The second scheme, Affirmation, also gives full scholarship but it is targeted for students who are from underdeveloped regions as stated in Presidential Regulation number 63 of 2020 on Determination of Underdeveloped Regions in 2020-2024, or students who receive Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) College or Bidikmisi Scholarship. Meanwhile, the co-funding scheme, the cost will be covered by two parties, government and the awardee itself. The number of awardees for co-funding scheme 2024 arose by three times higher than last year figure with 250 awardees.   
In order to provide more opportunities to college students across Indonesia to study overseas, government has added the number of beneficiaries up to 3000 awardees on this year. Here is the list of IISMA 2024 Awardees from Polnep:

2.    Najwa Dwi Nabila/D4 on Mechanical Engineering/Aircraft (Structure and Materials) Cardiff and Vale Collage - United Kingdom.
3.    Belva Mieko Suparwanto/D3 on Informatics Engineering/Information and Technology Ulsan College - South Korea.
4.    Willy Nofriza Putra/D4 on Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering (Engineering and Technology) Lunghwa University of Science and Technology-Taiwan.
5.    Ibnu Ilham/D3 on Informatics Engineering/Cybersecurity Hanyang University-South Korea.
6.    Awang Praja Anugerah/D3 on Informatics Engineering/Inforamation and Technology (General) Yuan Ze University-Taiwan
